A BBQ in July

A few weeks ago we invited some friends over for an impromptu BBQ. It ended up being a ton of fun!!!

Naomi, Jon and Zoe came, followed by Tia, Carrie and Ezra, and finally Heather, Michael and Heather's niece Mariah.

Daddy put me in the pool with my clothes on and I played with Aunt Tia

Mommie made Daddy put my swimsuit on, it's much easier to swim that way!

We had fruits, veggies, chips, and burgers! YUM!

Zoe came and we had a blast in the pool playing with Aunt Tia and the slide

Then Carrie came and brought Ezra and Mommie, Naomi, and Carrie sat around the pool while we played.

The day before the BBQ I tried to trim Dommie's hair and ended up nicking his ear. It wasn't fun. We took him to urgent care because it looked like it might need a liquid stitch or something and I was worried about infections. The doctor did give him a liquid stitch and agreed that it's an area that is highly prone to infection so he had us start Dommie on amoxicillian just in case. Everything seemed like it was fine, but the day of the BBQ Dommie fell out of the pool and pulled the cut back open. Once it stopped bleeding we decided that since we had the antibiotics then we would watch it for a few days and make sure he got the antibiotics. It's all healed now with no infection!
