Easter News

Easter weekend went well. Dommie loved his easter basket, which contained a duck louffa, car shaped playing cards, 4 easter stampers, 4 easter finger puppets, a soft and magentic picture fram for the fridge, a green (frog?) pillow, a bunch of peeps, and a wind up bunny that walks.

He wasn't sure what to do about the peeps until John showed him that he could eat it. He ate half of one and gave the other half to John. He's so cute about feeding John, he absolutely loves to do it.

He loves the wind-up bunny and the finger puppets. Yesterday he spent about 30-35 minutes putting the finger puppets on his fingers and taking them off. It was way too cute.

He had fun at the Easter Egg Hunt at my Dad's club and grabbing Easter Eggs at Grandma's on sunday. He also seemed to like playing with the other kid's at Grandma's.

Pictures to come of egg dyeing, getting his easter basket, and visiting Great-Grandma Helen's.

Our 1st Family Trip to the Zoo!!!

We bought family passes to the zoo and took our first trip there on Sunday. It was a great day for it and we really had a lot of fun.

Pictures of the monkeys/gorillas? that fascinated Dommie with their loud noises.

Dommie's fascinated as you can see.

The peacock that flew right at us and over Dommie's stroller.

Sea Lions!

Watching the sea lions from below.

Playing at the Children's Zoo area

Excited about riding on the train

The crazy little animal we saw. It was only about the size of a newborn kitten.

Mid-"WOOOOOOOOOW!" He said wow hundreds of times while we were there. It's was great.

Cuddling on Daddy's shoulders

All tuckered out at the end of the trip

He Loves the Swings!

We took Dommie to the park and let me tell you, this boy loves the swings as much as his Mommie did growing up. They are by far his favorite part of going to the park.

Here is a picture that showcases his joy. :-)

Dominic's First Black Eye

Dommie had a fall at daycare and popped himself in the eye with a table. Marie said he wasn't all that upset about it, he didn't really cry just yelled for am minute and went back to playing. These pictures are from the night it happened. His eye got really black a few days later and it all lasted a little over a week.
