The Birthday Pictures have Arrived!

Dominic had an amazing birthday! In my opinion the party went great, good people, good food, and lots of fun. You can check out the pictures and decide for yourself.

Everyone that came, thank you so much! We were so glad to have you.

Our Early May Zoo Trip!

We took Dommie to the zoo again and it was a lot of fun. It was a gorgeous day. We spent a really long time in the Manatee House looking at "fishies!" Good times...

Plants and water! What more could a kid want?

A beautiful Macaw, Dommie loves the gorgeous colors.

Looking at Elephants with Daddy!

Checking out the map to make sure we're headed in the right direction to see the fishies...

Attention Bermans

As I mentioned to some of you I want to set this blog up so that each of you can post an update on your lives as well.

I already sent Laura her invitation to post. I believe Laura that all you have to do is activate that and you can start posting at any time.

If anyone else would like to be able to post blog entries on this page please respond to this post with a gmail email address. It has to be gmail. I will set it up to send you an invitation and all you have to do is accept it and start posting.

In other exciting news, Dommie's birthday party pictures and more will hopefully be up tonight.

8 Days and Counting!

That's right folks, we are only 8 days away from Dominic's Birthday and birthday party!

It is so hard to believe that our little baby is turning 2 in just a few short days. The plans for his party are moving right along and it is all finishing touches now. We aren't sure how many people to expect, but here is the current RSVP count:

Terry, Nancy, Julia and Laura
Rob Berman
GrandMary and George
Dad and Charity
Grandma Helen
Tom Reed, plus guest (Jasmine)
Carrie (possibly Charles), and Ezra
Lauren (possibly Chris), and Connor
Naomi, Jon, and Zoe
Jenny McClellan
Liz and Joe
Tia McClellan
Amanda, Doug, and Reese (possibly Darell)
Heather and Michael
Aunt Janet, Bianca, and Emma
Heather and Lainey

Those are the firm RSVPs currently, so it's looking like about 20-30 people depending upon how many late RSVPs I get this week. I think we are going to prepare for 35 just in case.

An Unexpected Operation for Tiffany

I had to have an emergency appendectomy Friday evening. The details are in My Blog.

I am home and doing okay right now. I just wanted to let everyone know what happened and that I am okay.

Trip to Michigan

We went to Grand Rapids, Michigan to meet up with the other family's on Tiffany's mommy messageboard. While there, we went swimming at the hotel and played pinball (both which Dominic completely adored) went to the Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park to see a beautiful butterfly exhibit, cool tropical plants, and some fish and turtles. The also have a children's garden with a sensory garden, a great lakes water fountain, a rock quarry with a huge sandbox, and a tree house village. It was quite a neet place. Dominic's favorite parts were the cool plants (he also has a strong interest in plants, he loves touching different leaves and did it almost the whole time we were at the gardens), the giant sandbox, the pinball (loud joyful giggles when the ball hit the bumpers), and the pool. He was practically swimming by himself with the waterwings. I think he's a natural swimmer... we'll probably get a membership to the YMCA now.

We took Dominic to get his first professional haircut at a place called Cookie Cutters. It was a really nice place and had lots of distractions, but he was still alarmed by the clippers and very freaked out by the hair dryer.
